Rooted in Traceability. Guided by Sustainability.
All seaweed used in our skincare is traceable to its cold North Atlantic source along the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. We harvest by hand under Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) wild harvest licenses in Grates Cove and Tors Cove, selecting Laminaria digitata and Fucus vesiculosus (Bladderwrack) from intertidal zones shaped by cold, nutrient-rich, and turbulent waters. These wild seaweeds are naturally rich in bioactives — including fucoidan, beta-glucan, and polyphenols — known to support sensitive skin and strengthen the skin barrier.
Our harvesting methods are rooted in sustainability. Each plant is hand-cut to support natural regrowth, and every harvest is carefully recorded, monitored, and reported to DFO. Before commercial harvests, survey harvests assess seaweed abundance and environmental conditions to ensure long-term ecosystem health.
From ocean harvest to final product, we control every step — using wild, seaweed and eco-conscious processing — to deliver purity, potency, and integrity. Our seaweed extracts, rich in marine bioactives, are the primary ingredient in every product we make — all formulated and made in Canada.
